Even a Girl Could Do It: Stories of Labor, Life, and Survival

This programme presents a feminist, intersectional approach to “work,” comprising stories of near-enslavement and creative resistance, to modern-day exploitation and emancipation in anidocs on historical and contemporary themes. We also follow a freelance war reporter, animators in precarious circumstances, breadwinning favela children, a firefighter fascinated by the burning element, and a She-Salmon on a perilous upstream journey. As Serbian modernist Isidora Sekulić once urged, the next generation needs to see the full picture, before deciding whether to self-sacrifice and serve the world.
