Oscar® Qualifying Festival

For the first time, Fantoche is on the list of Academy Award® Qualifying Festivals. Films that win the Best Film Award in the International Competition can be nominated for an Oscar. Fantoche's next Call for Entry will start in January 2025. ‘We are delighted that Fantoche has been given this honour and this recognition, which acknowledges the work and commitment of Fantoche and all our colleagues at all levels,’ says Festival Director Ivana Kvesić.
