Panorama Festival Gems
The “Panorama Festival Gems” programme showcases some of our favourite films from the current festival season. They have
been captivating audiences on major festival screens around the globe
already for months, generating buzz, touching hearts, surprising viewers or leaving them smiling.
The selection is comprised of films that celebrated their world premieres at renowned festivals such as the Krakow Film Festival, the International Film Festival Rotterdam, Annecy or the Berlinale. Others – such as “Hungry Hollow”, “The Sycamore” or “Abortion Party” – have long since established themselves as box-office favourites.
Some films are a perfect fit for a competition. Others don’t lend themselves for a competition programme but are simply too good not to be shown! “Panorama Festival Gems” spotlights these cinematic discoveries that we couldn’t possibly keep from you, despite our packed competition programmes.
