Osbert Parker

Emmy and three times BAFTA nominated director and artist, Osbert Parker is perhaps best known for using innovative mixed media techniques that combine photo cut-out animation with objects and live action to create one-of-a-kind imaginary landscapes in his award-winning short films. Parker is a freelance director who consistently works on a wide range of industry and personal projects. 'FILM NOIR' was nominated for best short animated film by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) in 2006 and also was nominated for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. With 35 years of experience working in the creative arts industries, Parker’s clients include Apple TV+, Disney+, Hulu, BBC, Channel 4, ITV, MTV, Onyx Collective, Coca-Cola, Nike, Budweiser, Orange and The World Wildlife Fund. Parker balances his freelance work with delivering masterclasses and international animation workshops in Europe, America and the UK. Committed to helping new generations of filmmakers, Parker is a (SFHEA) Senior Fellow of The Higher Education Academy and a visiting animation lecturer at (NFTS) The National Film & Television School, UK.
