
Nina Gantz
Nina Gantz is a Dutch animation director based in Brighton. She graduated from the National Film and Television School, where she created the animated short film “Edmond” which went on to win a BAFTA and the Sundance award for Best Animated Short.
Currently, Nina works as a freelance director, directing commercials for the production company BlinkInk. You can find more information about her work on their website: BlinkInk - Nina Gantz.
Her most recent short film, “Wander to Wonder”, was nominated for an Oscar at the 2025 Academy Awards. After premiering at the Venice Film Festival, the film received several awards, including a second BAFTA, Best Animated Short at SXSW and an ANNIE award. Nina draws inspiration from combining various techniques, such as stop-motion, puppetry, and live-action. She is currently developing two feature-length films.
