What is the first animated film you remember seeing and what special impact did it have on you?

When I think back to the animated films from my childhood, I particularly remember the Barbie film series, which used to be shown on TV every Saturday at 12 noon. For me, it was a little event every weekend that I’d look forward to all week. Watching the new Barbie film together in the living room is one of my fondest childhood memories.

Those old films shaped me and had a positive influence on me. They nurtured my imagination and creativity and showed me how important it is to be positive and open-minded. These are qualities I still possess today. Even as a child, I was very sociable and open, and I think the Barbie films gave me even more self-confidence.

I found it particularly inspiring that Barbie was repeatedly portrayed in different roles. This taught me from an early age that women can achieve anything and take on any role in life. What’s more, my interest in fashion and styling began back then and has stayed with me to this day.

These Barbie films were therefore not just entertainment for me, but also a source of inspiration, creativity and a positive outlook.
